Man arrested for DUI after rollover crash on Highway 99 in Fresno County

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Two people were injured following a crash on northbound Highway 99 just before the Bethel Avenue exit just outside Kingsburg in Fresno County on Sunday afternoon.

According to the California Highway Patrol, around 2:30 p.m., a man in a white Mitsubishi was driving recklessly in the fast lane and veered to the right, rear-ending a Honda Pilot.

The impact caused the Honda to lose control, overturn off the highway and land on its driver's side.

Two people in the Honda were able to get out of the SUV and were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. They are expected to be okay.

The driver of the Mitsubishi stopped in the center divider and got out of his vehicle.

CHP says the man was arrested for driving under the influence and was arrested at the scene.
