Man hit by car while jaywalking in southeast Fresno, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno police are investigating after a man was hit by a car in southeast Fresno Monday night.

Authorities say it happened near Kings Canyon and Cedar when a man was jaywalking.

Police say that is when the man was hit by a car. His condition is not known at this time.

The driver of the car stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police.
