PHOTOS: Refugio State Beach oil spill

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- A ruptured pipeline spilled oil at Refugio State Beach, 20 miles west of Santa Barbara on Tuesday, May 19, 2015.

The break created a slick some 4 miles long along the coast. The cause of the incident is unknown.
