MONTEREY, Calif. (KFSN) -- If you're planning a trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, you may see new otters swimming around.
Suri and Willow made their big debut on Tuesday.
The southern sea otters were rescued after being orphaned in 2022 in different areas off of the Central Coast.
The aquarium says Suri was named after the Big Sur coastline, and she's described as bold and independent.
Willow was named after the area near where she was rescued.
Staff say she is social and resourceful.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has determined they can not be released back into the wild.
