Sanger Police officer dies in Pismo Beach off-road vehicle accident

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Sanger Police Department is mourning the loss of one of its officers.

The department announced Friday the passing of Officer Rodney Jones. Jones died in an ATV accident Friday morning in the Pismo Beach area.

He was a 20 year veteran of the Sanger Police Department and is survived by his girlfriend, three sons, and several grandchildren.
