Teen bicyclist struck and killed following crash in central Fresno, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A 15-year-old boy has died after being struck by a car while on his bike in central Fresno.

Police say the crash happened on Angus Street and Olive Avenue around 6 p.m. Monday.

Investigators believe the teen was riding his bike in the road when he was struck by an oncoming car.

The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and is cooperating with police.

Drugs and alcohol don't appear to be a factor in the crash.
