
SELMA, Calif. (KFSN) -- A teenager is in critical condition after being hit by a car in Selma.
The crash happened just after 1:30 p.m. Tuesday on Rose and Highland avenues.
Police say the boy was riding an electric bike when he was hit.
He had serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.
The driver stayed on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
Drugs or alcohol are not suspected factors in the crash.
The Selma Police Department is warning drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians to remain alert on the road.
Parents are also advised to talk to their children about e-bike safety.
