
FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A 17-year-old boy is recovering in the hospital after a stabbing in central Fresno early Wednesday morning, according to police.
Officers responded to the area of Olive and First avenues around 12:30 a.m. following reports of a stabbing. When they arrived, they found the teenager suffering from a cut to his arm.
Police say the teen was taken to a local hospital for treatment, and his injuries are considered non-life threatening.
Investigators have not released details about what may have led up to the stabbing. Officers say the victim has been uncooperative with authorities during the investigation.
Police also located the victim's brother hiding in a nearby carport. Officers say he has also been uncooperative with the investigation.
No arrests have been announced, and detectives continue to work to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
