FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Firefighters stopped the forward progress of a wildfire that burned more than 550 acres in western Fresno County on Sunday.

A PG&E webcam captured the flames as they sparked earlier in the day.

CAL FIRE crews responded to the fire along Manning Avenue near James Road, just west of San Joaquin.

Officials say crews were able to halt the fire's spread.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
