Woman dies at hospital after being shot in Cutler, officials say

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- A woman has died after being taken to Kaweah Health Medical Center in Visalia with a gunshot wound.

The Tulare County Sheriff's Office says the shooting happened near Cutler, and the victim was brought to the hospital by an unidentified man.

Medical staff tried to save the woman, but she died at the hospital.

The shooting remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Tulare County Sheriff's office.
