Woman found dead in dumpster in Northwest Fresno, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A woman's body was found in a dumpster in Northwest Fresno early Sunday morning.

Fresno police say officers were called to the area of Fallbrook Avenue east of Ingram Avenue around 1 a.m. and found the woman in the dumpster.

Homicide detectives were called in to take over the case.

Authorities have not released the woman's identity or what may have caused her death.
