Woman killed in single-car crash in Tulare County, CHP says

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- A woman has died following a car crash in Tulare County.

It happened just before 12:30 am Monday on Avenue 408 west of Road 124, near the town of Cutler.

The California Highway Patrol says a Ford Mustang collided with a fence, metal posts and a sign.

A female passenger died at the scene.

The driver and two other passengers were not hurt.

Officers say the woman was the only one in the vehicle who was not wearing a seatbelt.

There is no word on whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
