Man killed in Highway 41 wrong-way crash identified

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The man killed in a wrong-way crash on Highway 41 in Fresno County has been identified.
The Fresno County Coroner's Office has identified him as 18-year-old Jose Carmona.
The crash happened just before 1:30 a.m. Wednesday near Elkhorn Avenue, north of Riverdale.
Investigators say Carmona was driving against traffic when he crashed into a Ford F-150.
Both pickups went off the road and the drivers were airlifted to the hospital. Carmona died from his injuries.
The other driver was not released.
Investigators say alcohol or drugs are suspected factors in the crash.
