Woman stabbed multiple times in Downtown Fresno, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- An investigation is underway after police say a woman was stabbed in Downtown Fresno on Friday.

It happened just after 9 am on Inyo and F streets.

Police say the woman was stabbed in her upper body and hand.

She was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.

Police are still searching for a suspect and have not said what may have led to the attack.
