Police searching for suspects after armed robbery outside northeast Fresno restaurant

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police are searching for suspects following an armed robbery that left a man injured outside a northeast Fresno restaurant.

The robbery happened after 9:30 p.m. Thursday in the parking lot of Saizon near the intersection of Willow and Shepherd avenues.

Officers say the victim was pistol-whipped by two men who also stole his watch.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of a cut to the head.

Police say the suspects drove away from the scene in a Black Honda Accord.

The investigation remains ongoing.
