Belmont Avenue closed at Hayes due to a fallen tree

FRESNO, California (KFSN) -- Belmont Avenue is closed at Hayes Avenue west of Fresno due to a tree that has fallen -- pulling power lines down with it.

PG&E is on scene, Thursday morning, working to repair the lines. It's not clear if the stormy weather and moist caused the tree to fall. You may want to avoid that area until crews get that toppled tree cleaned up.
