We were only in the upper 90s yesterday but will kick off a big warm up for us today. We are waking up to temperatures in the 60s and 70s which is quite a bit warmer compared to this time yesterday. By this afternoon the entire valley will reach the triple digits for the first time which will kick off a long stretch of 100 degree days. Hazy sunshine form moderate air quality is still expected. Fresno will reach a high of 100 today. Wind speeds have calmed down and will stick to around 5-10 mph. The entire valley is under a moderate for our air quality this afternoon but still has a health caution due to smoke from wildfires. Thursday does kick off another heat wave for us because we stick to the triple digits Thursday through week. The hottest temperature we are forecasting so far is a high of 104 for Saturday. So far we have six days in a row of triple digit heat.
