Check out this footage of a Dumbo octopus found in the Arctic
The Global Foundation for Ocean Exploration discovered this Dumbo octopus during an Arctic exploration.

A Dumbo octopus was caught on camera during an Arctic exploration by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the Global Foundation for Ocean Exploration and the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

Named after the beloved cartoon elephant because of its ear-like fins, the octopus was swimming at a depth of 900 meters in the Chukchi Sea.

The Dumbo octopus uses its ear-like fins to move around. It has an average length of about 8 inches, and is also known as an umbrella octopus because of the webbing between its arms.
