Man killed at New Year's Eve party in Sanger identified

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Authorities identified man killed at a New Year's party at the Sanger Crossing Apartments as 23-year-old Ritchie Jimenez.

Police say he was shot to death at an apartment complex on J Street near Cherry Avenue. Dozens of people held a candlelight vigil there last night.

Investigators believe a party turned into a fight, which ended in gunfire. There's no word yet on any possible suspects.
