Fire rips through Tulare County warehouse
Witnesses reported seeing flames as high as 50 feet and authorities said the warehouse in Pixley was used for recycling paper and plastic.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Investigators are still trying to figure out how this massive fire started after it ripped through a warehouse early Saturday.

It happened just after midnight in the city of Pixley.

Witnesses reported seeing flames as high as 50 feet and authorities said the warehouse was used for recycling paper and plastic.

It took crews a few hours to get control of the blaze.

Damage is estimated at $250,000.
