FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Firefighters are making progress on a wildfire burning in Mariposa County.

The so-called Valley Fire, which broke out late Friday afternoon off Hunters Valley Road near the southeast shore of Lake McClure, has burned 90 acres and is 65 percent contained, according to Cal Fire. About 40 structures remain threatened, officials said.

Evacuations have been ordered for Bear Valley Road to Hunters Valley Road. An evacuation center has been established at Cathey's Valley Baptist Church -- 4565 Cornetts Entrance Road.

More than 350 firefighters are working to get the flames under control. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

The Mariposa County Sheriff's Office says all evacuation orders have been lifted. Residents need to show an ID to return to their homes.
