CHP investigating a deadly crash in Los Banos

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Officials say a 57-year-old man was found dead underneath his car around 5 p.m., near the High Line Canal just west of Russell Avenue in Los Banos.

Investigators believe the man had lost control of his car, and then drove down the embankment, before flipping over his car.

He was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected in the crash.

Alcohol is believed to have played a factor in the accident.
