SANGER, Calif. -- State Superintendent Tom Torlakson stopped in the Central Valley today to visit several schools in Sanger and Clovis.
Action News caught up with him at Sanger High School where he checked out several engineering, science and agriculture classrooms. Torlakson also took questions from students.
He says he wanted to visit Sanger after awarding the high school a gold ribbon earlier this year and naming it a Distinguished School for the third year in a row.
