FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Authorities in Southern California are searching for a man and a woman in connection with the kidnapping of three young children whose mother was found dead in Gorman last week. The victim and the suspects both have ties to Fresno.
Los Angeles Sheriff's deputies are looking for Joshua Robertson and Brittany Humphrey. An arrest warrant has been issued for both of them. The two were last seen with Kimberly Harvill's three children-- ages five, three, and two.
Harvill was found dead near a freeway in Gorman August 14th. Neighbors said she used to live at this home in Fresno with Humphrey. They say Robertson helped them move out and they are worried about the kids.
"The kids already lost their dad through suicide, and now they lose their mom through murder-- that's terrible. That's a very terrible thing and whoever did it should be caught," said Willie Venson Jr., a former neighbor.
Robertson and Humphrey are believed to be on the run with Harvill's kids in her SUV. Deputies said it's a green 1999 Ford Expedition with a rear sticker that reads, "R.I.P. Chad Watkins." The license plate is 7BEK024 and Robertson should be considered armed and dangerous.
