Man hit and killed by train in Merced

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A train hit and killed a man as he crossed railroad tracks in Merced.

Investigators say the deadly collision happened just after 7 pm Friday as the man pushed a stroller across the tracks when the train hit him.

Officers pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Police have not identified the victim.
