Police discover woman's body in car after Reno man arrested in Dinuba

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Dinuba Police have arrested a man believed to be connected to a murder investigation in Reno.

Saturday night, police responded to a pair of disturbances on Sierra Way and East Olive Way just about an hour apart. Witnesses later told police that a black Lincoln Navigator was used in both crimes.

Police were called back out to East Olive Way the next morning for a stabbing where Jose Rodriguez of Reno was taken into custody.

Witnesses later told police that a body was in Rodriguez' Navigator and after serving a search warrant, investigators found a dead woman inside a cardboard box.

Dinuba Police are now working with officers in Reno to help close the case.
