FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno firefighters came to the rescue of a dog stuck in a very uncomfortable spot on Saturday.
A concerned neighbor called to report the pup wedged in a wrought iron fence. It's believed she may have been there for about 12 hours.
Firefighters from Engine 17 responded and tried using hand tools. But when that didn't work, they got out hydraulic spreaders to create a bigger gap in the fence.
They managed to free the dog, and a neighbor agreed to watch her until the owner arrives from out of town.
