MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- One person is in custody following a suspected DUI crash in Madera County Friday morning.

It happened before 6:30 am on northbound Highway 99 near Avenue 7.

The California Highway Patrol says the driver of a Toyota Camry was going the wrong way and crashed head-on with a semi-truck.

It caused the semi-truck to flip on its side and forced road closures.

A third vehicle was involved due to the initial impact of the crash.

Officers say no one suffered major injuries, but the driver of the semi-truck was taken to Community Regional Medical Center with a complaint of pain.

The driver of the Camry was arrested for DUI.
