Police search for 2 suspects after man shot in Clovis neighborhood

CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police are searching for two suspects following a shooting that left one man injured in a Clovis neighborhood Wednesday night.

According to Clovis police, the shooting occurred around 7:40 p.m. on Ashcroft Avenue, near Peach and Gettysburg avenues, during a family argument.

At some point during the argument, one of the suspects pulled out a gun and fired it, striking one person.

The victim suffered a gunshot wound but is expected to live.

After the shooting, the suspects fled.

Authorities say they are still searching for both suspects, who may be armed and dangerous.

The handgun used in the shooting was found by officers.
