MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- A preliminary hearing has been set for a Madera County man accused of spying on guests at an Oakhurst Rental property.
44-year-old Christian Edwards will appear in a Madera County courtroom on May 22.
Edwards remains out on bail after Madera County Sheriff's deputies arrested him last month.

During a hearing on Thursday, Edwards waived his rights to a speedy trial. He is also still looking to hire private counsel.
Investigators say they discovered evidence that Edwards had secretly filmed his guests without their knowledge, dating back to July 2025.
That's when the property was first listed online as a short-term commercial rental.
Edwards now faces one felony count for possession of child sex abuse material.
Authorities say none of the victims have been identified or have come forward.
The case is still under investigation.
