DUI driver slams into pole, keeps driving with pole attached to vehicle, Fresno Police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man was arrested for driving under the influence after hitting a pole and continuing to drive with it stuck to his vehicle on Friday evening.

Fresno Police say that initially, the driver refused to exit the vehicle. Officers blocked the suspect to prevent him from driving away.

The driver eventually got out of his vehicle and was arrested for DUI and reckless driving.

No injuries were reported and no other vehicles were involved.
