Fresno Arts Council looking for local artist to paint new mural at Tupman Park

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A new mural is coming to Fresno, and the Fresno Arts Council is calling for local artists.

District 3 Councilmember Miguel Arias and the FAC are working together to select one or more artists to paint a mural at Tupman Park.

The proposed concepts and designs should reflect the diversity and unity of the neighborhood community through a vibrant and colorful composition

The mural dimensions are 85 ft. x 6 ft. and the budget for this project is $33,150.

This project is open to experienced artists from California who are 18 years of age or older.

Artists are encouraged to incorporate imagery inspired by local agriculture, wildlife, and themes of belonging, family, and play.

The entry deadline is Friday, August 14, by midnight on Submittable.
