FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Hockey is returning to Downtown Fresno, and you can join the team bringing back the Fresno Falcons.

There's going to be a hiring event with open interviews this Friday.

It's happening at 2411 Inyo Street off of M Street, between the Fresno Convention Center and Saroyan Theatre.

They're setting up interviews from 10 am to 2 pm. Those will be taking place on the third floor.

Professional hockey has had a 17-year hiatus in Fresno.

Starting in October, 28 home games are scheduled at the Selland Arena.

The Falcons have a five-year deal with the Federal Prospects Hockey League, with the option to renew five years at a time.
