Fresno Unified Middle School Teacher of the Year Joseph Bushong goes above and beyond for students

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- It's Teacher Appreciation Week and a Fresno Unified educator is earning praise.

Mike Bushong, Fresno Unified's "Middle School Teacher of the Year," uses fun techniques while engaging with his English and drama students.

Mr. Bushong was recently surprised with a Donors Choose certificate on behalf of ABC30 and our parent company, The Walt Disney Company.
