Golden Valley High School principal on administrative leave

MERCED, Calif. (KFSN) -- The principal of Golden Valley High School has been placed on administrative leave.

The Merced Union High School District confirmed with Action News that Mike Richter was placed on leave starting November 13.

A message was shared with parents and students, stating, "While the confidential personnel matter is under review, Mr. Richter will not be involved in school activities."

The district has refused to share any other details.
