FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Friday marks 25 years since the September 11 terror attacks that killed thousands of people.

The tragedy sent shockwaves across the nation and the world.

It especially impacted a small Canadian town after dozens of planes carrying thousands of passengers were diverted there immediately after the attacks.
