Hanford bar employee hospitalized after shooting, police say

HANFORD, Calif. (KFSN) -- An employee at a Hanford bar has been hospitalized following a shooting.

Police say officers responded to the Sequoia Club, located on Irwin Street near West 7th Street, just before 1 a.m. Saturday.

When officers arrived, they found the employee as well as damage to nearby vehicles and buildings.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.

Investigators say the suspect or suspects fled the scene before officers arrived.
