Wanted domestic violence suspect identified after east central Fresno standoff

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno Police have identified a wanted domestic violence suspect after an early morning standoff in east central Fresno.

The suspect has been identified as 20-year-old Dehvaun Delagente Sanders-Holguin.

Fresno Police say officers were called out to an apartment on Maple near Shields around 3 am Tuesday for a domestic violence incident.

The victim was removed quickly, and police were told that the suspect was armed.

Police say a firearm was recovered but Sanders-Holguin was not found.

He is now wanted for felony domestic violence charges among several others.

Police say there is no evidence that neighbors are in danger but they urge caution to anyone who sees Sanders-Holguin.
