Hillcrest Tree Farm opens for spring festivities including cherry blossom trail

REEDLEY, Calif. (KFSN) -- The first day of spring is right around the corner, and so is Hillcrest Farms' Blossom Trail.

From now through March 15, you can snap photos with blossom trees, hike the trails and dine at Trade Winds Pub.

There's also a blossom trail train with round-trip tickets at $10 per person, ages two and up.

Hillcrest Farms Owner Melissa Bautista said she looks forward to everything the farm brings into the community.

"It's cool, and this is how we actually get volunteers and employees eventually, is they come out, and they go, 'Oh, this is cool,' and then they start coming to our volunteer time and stuff like that," Bautista said.

The farm is open for three weekends, concluding with Reedley Railfest on March 14-15, where people involved in trains will come show off their skills and steam trains.
