Horse killed in crash involving multiple cars in Madera County, CHP says

MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- A horse is dead following a crash involving multiple cars in Madera County on Wednesday.

It happened just before 4 am on Highway 41 near Mecca Lane.

Officers say a car hit a horse and was pushed into another car.

The horse was killed.

No information on the drivers has been released.

Highway 41 was blocked off in both directions but has since reopened.
