VISALIA, Calif. (KFSN) -- Oval Park and the surrounding community in Visalia seem calm on Wednesday afternoon, but on June 21, three women were sexually assaulted by one man in the area.
"There were three victims, all women. The ages were 73, 57 and 41," Liz Jones with the Visalia Police Department said.
The 57-year-old woman died from her injuries.
In the summer, the Visalia Police Department released surveillance video in hopes of finding the suspect: 20-year-old Adrian Hernandez Medrano.

The community, including the boyfriend of one of the victims, spoke out in frustration at the time.
"He let go of her mouth, and she said, 'Felix, Felix, get up.' I think I shattered his nose or something," witness Felix Guerra said in June
"I am on this side of town, everybody knows me and let me tell you, I will be looking," a Visalia resident who wished not to be identified said in June.

After several search warrants issued by the Visalia Crimes Unit, Medrano was tracked out of state.
Last week, detectives traveled to Alaska and, with the help of Alaska State Troopers and the Soldotna Police Department, Medrano was found and arrested.
Jones says Medrano is also tied to sexual assault crimes from 2023, where at least two women were victims.
"All the victims from 2023 mentioned that the suspect was a young Hispanic male, clean shaven, height 5'3 and we had surveillance video, so his physical description matches the June 2025 assaults," she said.
Action News spoke with several people near Oval Park and Downtown Visalia who did not want to go on camera, but say the arrest of Medrano was a long time coming.
One man, who knows one of the victims, says the arrest will bring closure and relief for many in the community fearing Oval Park.
Jones encourages anyone who experiences sexual assault to speak up and report it.
"When victims come forward, it not only helps law enforcement identify and stop dangerous individuals, but it can prevent future crimes," she said.
Medrano is currently in a county jail in Alaska and will be extradited back to Tulare County.
He faces multiple charges of sexual battery and one count of homicide.
