Man dies in solo ATV crash in Hanford, CHP says

HANFORD, Calif. -- The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly ATV crash in Hanford.

The Fresno Communications Center received a report of a traffic collision in a dry riverbed near State Route 43 and Denver Avenue shortly after 10 p.m. on Saturday.

CHP officers responded and found a man who was riding a 1991 ATV westbound within a dry riverbed.

The man was ejected from the ATV and died at the scene.

It's unknown whether alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash.
