Man killed in crash in Tulare County, CHP says

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- A 29-year-old man is dead following a crash in Tulare County Thursday morning.

It happened before 6:30 a.m. on Highway 65 and Lindmore Street, near Lindsay.

The California Highway Patrol says the 60-year-old driver of a Ram 1500 was going north on the highway when they turned onto Lindmore in front of a Ford Ranger.

The trucks collided, and the impact caused the Ranger to go south and hit a light pole.

Officers say the 29-year-old driver of the Ranger was not wearing a seatbelt and died.

He has not been identified, but officers say he was from Exeter.

The driver of the Ram was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.

Drugs or alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash.
