Man sentenced for deadly 2019 shooting in Fresno County

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- More than six years after the murder of 30-year-old Raodel Ruvalcaba, the man responsible learned his fate on Thursday.

36-year-old Jesus Capuchin was sentenced to 15 years to life.

In 2019, Ruvalcaba was found shot in the area of North Feland and West McKinley avenues in Fresno County.

A detective says Capuchin and Ruvalcaba knew each other.

The victim's family spoke in court, saying they finally feel like they can begin to heal.
