Man shot during meetup to sell handbag in Orosi, deputies say

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man is in the hospital following a shooting in Tulare County during a reported sale meetup.

The Tulare County Sheriff's Office says it happened in the area of Avenue 416 and Road 128 in Orosi around 10 pm Tuesday.

Deputies say two men were meeting up for a handbag sale. That is when they say a fight broke out, and one of the men was shot twice.

He was taken to a local hospital by ambulance and is expected to survive.
