Police looking for suspect in purse snatching spree in Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police are searching for a man possibly connected to a couple of purse snatchings in Central Fresno.

Investigators said a man allegedly stole a woman's purse from her cart at a Save Mart near Cedar and Ashlan Avenues. Officers then tracked the suspect to a home near Palm and Sierra Avenues after matching his car's registration.

However, investigators are still trying to determine if the suspect lives there.

On Friday, a man with the same description committed a similar crime at the Save Mart near Bullard and West Avenues.
