Small brush fire erupts near Highway 41 in Madera County, CAL FIRE says

MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fire crews are fighting a small brush fire off Highway 41 and Avenue 11 in Madera County west of the San Joaquin River.

According to CAL FIRE, the fire is about 15 to 20 acres and is burning at a slow to moderate rate in thick brush. No structures are threatened.

It is unknown how the fire began.

Expect traffic delays on Highway 41 going north starting at Children's Boulevard and ending just after Avenue 11.
