Suspect assaults man during Porterville home invasion, police say

PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KFSN) -- Porterville police arrested a man for a home invasion and assault.

Investigators say 35-year-old Gabriel Adrian Pizano III forced his way through the front door shortly after 9 pm Sunday and physically assaulted a man inside, leaving the victim with significant facial injuries.

The attack happened at a home off Newcomb and Henderson in Porterville.

By the time officers arrived, Pizano was already gone.

They found him later at another home off South B Street.

He's been booked into the Tulare County Sheriff's office South Detention Facility on $100,000 bail.
