Teen, Fresno woman arrested for Clovis shooting that injured 2, police say
CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- Two people have been arrested following a shooting that left a man and a woman injured in Clovis Wednesday night.

According to Clovis police, just after 7:40 p.m., officers responded to a shooting at a home on Ashcroft Avenue near Peach and Gettysburg avenues.
When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound to his upper body. Witnesses identified two suspects who had left the scene.
The suspects are identified as a 15-year-old boy and 21-year-old Mayra Contreras, both from Fresno.
Police began their search for the two suspects.
The handgun used in the shooting was located and recovered by police.
On Thursday morning, detectives found and arrested both suspects.
Detectives discovered that the shooting happened after the teen suspect went to the home on Ashcroft Avenue with the gun to steal money from his ex-girlfriend, leading to a physical fight.
During the altercation, police say the teen shot the man and Contreras pistol-whipped a woman with the same handgun. The suspects then left in Contreras's car.
Thursday morning, the teen suspect's mother called the Fresno County Sheriff's Office to report that her son had been shot in the wrist.
Detectives learned that the teen suspect had accidentally injured himself when he shot at the male victim.
Both victims received medical care and are recovering.
The teen suspect was also treated for his gunshot wound.
He was booked into Fresno County's Juvenile Justice Center for several felonies, including assault with a deadly weapon, robbery, and domestic violence.
Contreras was booked into Fresno County Jail for assault with a deadly weapon.
