Visalia substitute teacher facing child abuse charges

VISALIA, Calif. (KFSN) -- A substitute teacher in Visalia is in custody and facing charges of child abuse.

Police responded to La Joya Middle School on Wednesday for a report of a student being grabbed by the teacher, 50-year-old Enrique Serrano.

He was arrested and booked at the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility.
